Join artist Carmel Balfe for an imaginative Halloween craft workshop, inspired by traditional Halloween masks from the Irish Folklife Collection. Workshops take place at 10.30am, 12noon and 2.30pm on Saturday, 26 October, and 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Sunday, 27 October. Booking required.

Join storyteller Fiona Dowling for an interactive performance at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Sunday and Monday, 27 and 28 October. Many traditions and customs arose at this time of the year such as the ancient art of storytelling! Suitable for families with children aged 5 years plus. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Pick up a free activity sheet at Museum Reception to go on an object hunt across three floors of the Museum and find our scary Halloween artefacts hiding in the exhibitions.
