In 2023, the National Museum of Ireland acquired a donation of 40 documents belonging to the Murray family that lived in rural County Sligo. The well-preserved documents span 150 years from the early nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century and give a snapshot of the lives of a typical farming family. A selection of these documents is now available to view as an online exhibition.
The National Museum of Ireland is delighted to launch its latest programme of guided tours, workshops and resources for primary and post primary schools for the spring term.
Public entry and exit will be through the Museum shop entrance only. The Rotunda will reopen on Sunday, January 26th.
