The Murrays’ landlord at this time was Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston. This receipt, dated 30th March 1839, records Thomas and Michael Murray have paid Lord Palmerston 14 pounds, 13 shillings and 9 pence for a half years rent. 20 x 9.5cm
