Michael O'Callaghan, Mayor of Limerick from January 1920 to January 1921. O’Callaghan was murdered by a British intelligence agent and an Auxiliary on 7 March 1921. He was one of three Limerick men murdered in their homes that night, along with Mayor George Clancy and Volunteer Joseph O’Donoghue. Their killings were known as the Limerick Curfew Murders.
