Tracy O’Brien is a photographer and socially engaged artist, who graduated from TU Dublin with a BA in Photography and completed an MA in Socially Engaged Art at NCAD.
Pictured is a camogie dress worn by Maeve Gilroy in the 1960s. She was wearing this dress when she won her second All-Ireland Senior camogie title with Antrim in 1967.

Their role is to collect, manage, and preserve Ireland’s heritage in the decorative and applied arts, as well as its political, economic, military and social history.
The primary aim is to promote a wider understanding of Ireland’s cultural heritage and to highlight the country’s contribution to European decorative arts and in a broader international context.
The twelve Thangka paintings on show at the Albert Bender exhibition are part of a wider collection comprising twenty-one that illustrate the Arhats (disciples) of Buddha, and the Four Guardians of the Four Quarters of the World.
