Pop Up Chats: A Drop in the Ocean?
Free
What are the problems facing marine wildlife today? Drop into the Museum and meet Ornithologist, Andrew Power, to learn more.
A pop-up chat is a short activity that takes about 5-10 minutes and is located on the ground floor of the Museum at the temporary exhibition, A Drop in the Ocean?. No booking required. Wheelchair accessible.
In the image above we see a Northern gannet (Morus bassanus) on a nest of plastic. The temporary exhibition has six taxidermy specimens on display and was created by scientists from Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in collaboration with taxidermist Donal Mulcahy and artist Sabine Springer.
