Celebrate Irish Heritage Nominations for the 2024 An Post Book Awards!

We’re excited to share that Irish Food History: A Companion, featuring contributions from Maeve Sikora, the Keeper of the Irish Antiquities division, Clodagh Doyle, the Keeper of the Folklore Division and Isabella Mulhall, Assistant Keeper of Irish Antiquities, has been nominated for the Food & Drink Book of the Year 2024 at the An Post Book Awards! This nomination celebrates this fascinating exploration of Ireland’s rich food heritage.

In other news, the Natural History division is also in the spotlight: Peter Donnelly’s latest book, The Great Discovery, featuring the iconic Dead Zoo, has been nominated for Junior Book of the Year 2024. This honor highlights a wonderful way for young readers to connect with natural history!
