Join Museum Guides, Educators & Special Guests for a series of short and engaging pop up talks, based on the incredible stories told by just some of the artefacts in the Museum’s recent ‘Proclaiming a Republic: The 1916 Rising’ exhibition
These short pop up talks, produced by the Education & Outreach Department of the National Museum at Collins Barracks, will present to students the importance of object based learning and the benefits of material culture in our understanding of the past, while also providing stories to enrich their understanding of a significant moment in Irish history.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
