The Ancient Egyptians used a type of writing called hieroglyphics, which is a type of writing made up of symbols instead of letters. Learn how to write your name in hieroglyphs inside a cartouche, just like an Egyptian Pharaoh.

This activity can be used as an at home activity for children and families, or printed off and brought to the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology as part of your visit.
