Bridie O'Mullane, Cumann na mBan, c. 1918
Bridie O'Mullane in Cumann na mBan uniform, worn from 1918 onwards when she joined the organisation. She quickly became a member of the Executive, and was an official organiser during the War of Independence. She later became Director of Publicity and Propaganda during the Irish Civil War.
