Commemoration poster, with photograph and details of Percival Lea Wilson, an Englishman who joined the Royal Irish Constabulary in 1910, fought in WWI, and was made Detective Inspector First Class in 1920.Lea was said to have been in charge of a group of Irish prisoners after the rebellion in Dublin in 1916, and subjected the group to humiliations as well as physically mistreating leader Thomas Clarke. He was killed on the 15 June 1920 at Gorey, Co. Wexford by a special Active Service Unit comprised of Frank Thornton, Liam Tobin of The Squad, Michael Sinnott, Jack Whelan, and Joe McMahon, on the orders of Michael Collins as a retaliation for his actions in 1916.
