The Sack of Balbriggan, 21 September 1920
The Balbriggan Hosiery Factory, visited by Maud Gonne McBride, Mrs Charlotte Despard and Dorothy McArdle. The factory was burned out by British Forces during the Sack of Balbriggan, September 1920 as a reprisal for the shooting of a policeman.
