Head of Digital & Information Systems
Derek has been the Head of Digital & Information Systems at NMI since January 2020 and is responsible for ICT and gallery digital installations.Prior to joining NMI, Derek was the Technical Manager of Science Gallery, Trinity College Dublin and for many years has designed and built digital systems for galleries, museums, TV, film productions and theatre installations all over the world.
Derek has a degree in Electronic Engineering from DCU and professional qualifications for Occupational Health and Safety from DIT.
