After an incredibly successful 2023, the St Patrick’s Festival Quarter will take up residence again at the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, on Saturday and Sunday, 16 and 17 March 2024.
The grounds of one of Ireland’s most spectacular and historic heritage sites will be transformed into a magical day-to-night urban festival, featuring marquees, a tented Main Stage, performance spaces, relaxation areas, fair rides and a dedicated Irish Food and Craft Village.
Saturday, 16 March, kicks off with free family programming from 12pm to 5pm and entry is free on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity.
The festival then continues into the night with a ticketed Cultúr Club event, 'Mother', catering to an over 18s audience. See Mother Presents Cultúr Club for further details.
On St Patrick’s Day itself, Sunday 17 March, Collins Barracks will carry the buzz of the parade all day long! The Festival Quarter promises a huge celebration of Irish culture throughout the day and night from noon until 10.30pm, and all completely FREE!
One of the highlights of the day is the world famous Céilí Mór on the Main Stage with Dearbhla Lennon. An action packed programme of music will also see Faró, Louise Mulcahy and Ispíní na hÉireann perform, before finishing up with a barnstorming set by Denise Chaila for a session that will turn traditional Irish music upside down and inside out.

Welcoming the Festival Quarter back to Collins Barracks, Lynn Scarff, Director of the National Museum, said:
It is a joy to host the St Patrick’s Festival Quarter at the National Museum of Ireland – Collins Barracks again this year. The rich programme of arts, culture and performance brings the Museum grounds alive over two days and is a great hub for the celebrations of St Patricks Festival weekend."
Just a short walk from the city centre, the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History is easily accessible by Luas and bus, and adjacent to Heuston Station.
