Summer Online Activities with the NMI - Natural History

Summer is in session and while you may be ready to go outside and play ball, the weather may not. Especially for those rainy summer days, the National Museum of Ireland - Natural History has put together a range of fun activities that can all be done from the comfort of your own home.

What's the Difference Between Toy Animals and the Animals at the Museum?

Ever wondered what's the difference between the toy animals you have at home and the animals at the museum? Watch this short video to learn all about it!

My Favourite Toy Animal

Now that you know the difference between your toys and the animals in the museum, take some time to sketch and describe your favourite toy animal. Which animal will you choose?

For this activity you can use the 3D virtual viewer to find exactly where your favourite animal is hiding in the Museum. 3D Virtual Viewer
