Description: Meet online with a Museum Educator for a live introduction, Q&A, and virtual close-up inspection of educational handling collections including skulls, claws and footprints! Includes a viewing of one short video streamed via YouTube.

On completion of this live session students should be able to:

Describe what a bear looks like, including naming the eight different species of bears found around the world.

Describe where bears live (habitat) and what they eat (diet – omnivore, carnivore, herbivore).

Give examples of how we can help protect animals in our local environment.
