Tales from the Decant: Online Talk Series

The large flipper bones of a whale.

'Tales from the Decant' is a series of online talks programmed throughout 2021 and will feature Museum staff sharing stories about their work.

Over the last year Museum staff have been removing and storing thousands of bones, fossils, stuffed animals, dried insects and wet collections, as part of a decant project to clear the Museum building for important future refurbishments. Throughout the series, learn about their discoveries, on-going research and care of NMI-Natural History collections.
