Join Garry O’Neill, Dandelion (DJ and vintage style icon), Deirdre Macken (founder of Sé Sí and Lucy's Lounge) and Eamon Delaney (Seventies Punk and Author) at Collins Barracks for a discussion on Dublin youth culture and A New Form of Beauty.
A New Form of Beauty: Dublin youth culture, street style and subculture history, 1960s to 1990s is a photo exhibition charting the evolution of Dublin’s youth culture through the ever- changing face of its street styles and subcultures, from the 1960s to the 1990s. The images are taken from Garry O’Neill’s extensive archive of material sourced from the public, photographers and archives, for his continued book project Where Were You? Curated by Garry O’Neill. Commissioned by Bealtaine Festival, with support from the National Museum of Ireland.

This panel discussion will be taking place in the Lecture Theatre, located on Clarke Square from the South/ Liffey side of the Museum. The Lecture Theatre entrance is on your right in the archway into Clarke Square.
