Throughout December, join Museum Guides at Collins Barracks on a variety of engaging free tours exploring the Museum and its collection.
As part of our Christmas Family Fun Day on Sunday 1st December, savour some food history on our Eat, Drink and Be Merry tour, and join us for our Recovered Voices tour to learn about how World War One impacted the lives of Irish people. To round out 2024, enjoy an insightful New Year's Eve by learning about the Barracks and it's history, followed by exploring an important era in Irish military history in 1913 - 1923: Decade of Conflict.
Tours will begin in Reception at Collins Barracks. Booking is not required. However, places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that our Irish Sign Language interpreted tour on the 15th of December will prioritise deaf or hard of hearing visitors. Please contact bookings@museum.ie if you have any questions.
