Culture Night - Hands-on History: War and Peace (and Food)

Join Museum Educators to learn about the history of food and drink during wartime in Ireland with a fascinating range of artefacts from the Museum’s handling collection.
Highlights include a vintage lockable tea caddy, antique silver drinks labels, a World War II-era cookbook, and a marrow spoon specially designed for a certain delicacy in the 19th century, among other illuminating objects about wining and dining through the ages.
