Drop-In: The Saints, Scholars, and Scribes of Ireland! Early Medieval Handling Workshop

Over this St. Brigid's Weekend Festival, drop into the Learning Resource Room and find out more about the lives of people in Early Medieval Ireland. During this handling workshop, discover replicas of jet crosses from Yorkshire, early medieval leather shoes, and brooches for cloaks and clothes. . Take part in some relaxing colouring activities, read through our many books about archaeology, and make sure to explore the Museum's galleries afterwards.

No booking required. Located in the Learning Resource Room, First Floor. Not wheelchair accessible. This workshop is for families. 

What is a Drop-In Workshop?
Bring the family into the Learning Resource Room, first floor, at the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, and take part in a Drop-In Workshop. Each Drop-In workshop takes place for up to two hours and has a short activity that takes between 15-30 minutes to complete, however, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish.
