Drop-In Workshop: Medieval Knights and Ladies

Free Admission. No Booking Required.

Gold Ring Brooch. Marlborough St, Dublin, 13th-14th C AD

In Medieval times a lady would give a knight a ring brooch as a love token to carry into ‘battle’ for good luck. Join us to find out more about love and courting in Medieval times and to make your own love token to bring home.

No booking required. Located in the Learning Resource Room, First Floor. Not wheelchair accessible. Families with Children Aged 7+.

This February midterm, bring the family into the Learning Resource Room, first floor, at the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, and take part in a Drop-In Workshop. Each Drop-In workshop takes place for an hour and a half and has a short activity that takes between 15-30 minutes to complete, however, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish. Every activity is based on something on display in the Museum. For full details of our list of Drop-In Workshops, please see our Event Calendar.
