1755 and just the cross and H of the IHS is carved on the reverse. Also can be seen a hatched design on the reverse of the arms.

Carved on the front is a stylised version of INRI and Symbols of the Passion of Christ include the representation of a ladder, spear, cock and pot. The lower part of the figure of Christ is detached from the shaft of the cross. From his right arm hangs a maniple and on the left there are four cords.
Provenance: Rush, Co. Dublin.In the 1800’s the cross had belonged to the captain of a sailing boat from Rush, Co. Dublin.
