Cross of one piece of wood but missing the edges of each of the arms.

This cross with a suspension hole is unusual in its almost rectangular shape and in its incised decoration. INRI is carved at the top of the cross and there is star decoration throughout. There is a skull below the crossed feet of Christ and there may be an angel and crossed bones either side of it. There is also a chalice and spear carved and also “This crusificks is” and continued on the reverse is ‘for F.R M S B’.
